Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa:—In an epic clash of the icons two-time world champion Damien Hardman (Aus), 46, defeated 1999 world champion Mark Occhilupo (Aus), 46, in the twin-fin final of the Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy 2012. After a back-and-forth duel, ‘Dooma’ used the shifting conditions to lock in a heat high 7.83 under Occhilupo’s priority and outpoint the 2011 champion 15.26 to 12.77.
